Press Release - ReMessured

The first part of the ReMessured project has been completed - 630 rulers were created by 23 volunteers!

During the workshops, 23 unique volunteers actively participated in the action, dedicating their time (26+ hours in total) and their skills to the construction of a total of 630 rulers, which will be donated to students in need.

Several of the participants returned to the workshops more than once, substantially contributing to the achievement of the final result. Their repeated participation allowed the improvement of the production process and strengthened the collaborative spirit developed during the project.

A project that in essence is the mission of our team: small/large actions that combine the fight against environmental, humanitarian and social issues.

In parallel with the construction of the rulers, a collection of school supplies donated by citizens and volunteers was carried out (and continues until September). These items will accompany the rulers during their distribution, further enhancing the social impact of the action.

The completion of the open workshops is an important milestone for ReMessured, while the project continues with the next stages of preparation and distribution of the donations to the final recipients.

The Save Our Planet International (SOPI) team expresses its warm thanks to the Greek Eco Project for the trust it showed in the implementation of ReMessured, as well as for the provision of its facilities and equipment, which contributed decisively to the successful implementation of the open workshops! Together we achieved our goals and continue to complete the distribution of our small (but important) help to those in need.

At the same time, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all 23 volunteers, as well as to all those who supported the action by participating, offering school supplies or in any other way. Their contribution proved that cooperation between citizens, organizations and social initiatives can... change the world!
